To someone who is one of my greatest Inspiration
Dear friends, this is my Golden Jubilee post. I thank everyone for your constant support and motivation. As I already mentioned in my 25th post, every 25th post will be about one of my teachers or persons who inspired me.
In this post, I would like to share a poetry ( I tried to write one) which I wrote about one of my teachers who inspired and keeps inspiring me.
He, who taught me science and to understand its mysteries,
He, who taught me what true pathology is,
He, who taught me beyond books and atlases,
He, who taught me to see the colours in cells,
to see maturing myeloid cells as ripening mango, megaloblastic
erythroid maturation as broken bassin ka laddu,
He, who taught me what a giant myelocyte, metamyelocyte is,
He, who taught me English grammar,
He, who taught me how to write an article, a project proposal,
He,
who taught me the difference between evidence & presence of,
He,
who taught me how a student should remember his teacher,
Sir,
your teachers Father Cox, Prof Tandon and many more are always remembered by your
students,
He,
who is fatherly, friendly, simple, humble,
He,
who is an all rounder, can talk about science, English, movies, novels,
wildlife,
chocolates,
sweets, of course samosas and many more topics….
And
our, the most favourite coffee….
He,
who is my all time favourite and the most inspiring person,
Yes, He is my dearest teacher.
That
person is Dr.Rajive Kumar, who was my Professor and Head, Laboratory Oncology
Division, during my senior residency in IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi. I met him first
on September 4, 2015 when I joined AIIMS. He is such a wonderful teacher that
one can listen to him for hours. I am happy and proud to be his student.
By your dear student,
Dr.Priyavadhana
A good teacher, scientist, thinker, guide and very humble person.
